An Evening of French Cooking-French Salads & Verrines

To prepare for the arrival of summer, Séverine and Dominique invite you to their health-conscious class devoted to traditional French salads and newer trends. The following will be made:

  • Crudités (assortment of vegetables, mostly raw, sliced, grated or diced and each served with a different vinaigrette)
  • Salade niçoise (specialty of Nice on the French Riviera)
  • Salade de chèvre chaud (warm goat cheese salad)
  • Verrines (appetizers consisting of a number of components layered artfully in a small glass)

Active participation is encouraged butnot mandatory. You can simply come and unwind with a glass of wine. If you have questions, contact Dominique at thevends@uwec.edu

Cost for the three-hour class: $60

There will be a cash bar.
