An introduction in an educational forum; focusing on the preparations, culinary technique, origin/history, and most importantly acquainting each other with the theme of this class. The objective is to educate in the pursuit for excellence in the ambiance of Forage while having fun.
In this class Chef John Bender will be leading participants in preparing traditional pierogies. Each attendee will be learning how to make their own dough, rollout, and fill their own pierogies and then how to cook them. We will be preparing them with a variety of traditional fillings. Pierogies are very near and dear to my heart. My grandfather used to tell stories to me of his mother making them when he was a child. So this class is going to be so fun!!
